International Day of the Tropics
The General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) designated June 29 as the International Day of the Tropics. The commemoration aims to recognize their great diversity, as well as to inform about the challenges and opportunities faced by the peoples who inhabit these regions. At the same time, This celebration provides an opportunity to assess progress, share stories and experiences from the tropics, as well as recognize the diversity and potential of the region. In this gallery, we pay homage and a tribute for this day, to various tropical regions of Central American countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador and Panama, as well as Mexico.
